Federica Bardelli
Fredarica Bardelli is a visual designer and visual artist, currently working as a researcher for the project ODYCCEUS – Opinion Dynamics and Cultural Conflict in European Spaces at the department of Media Studies of the Universiteit van Amsterdam and part of the Visual Methodologies Collective – HvA Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
She’s actually studying for a Master Degree in New Art Technologies at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera – Milan and she spent a semester in France at ESADMM – École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Marseille where she practiced sculpture and photography. She has also obtained in 2013 a Master Degree in Communication Design at Politecnico di Milanwhere she collaborated for two years with the research department Density Design Lab.
Her studies focus on new visual languages applied to research.
She works as visiting designer for the academic field as she’s specialised in information and data visualisation disciplines;
always working with internet and Digital Methods, she get used to dive into new media practices and cultures and to experiment with techniques and tools.
She’s now experimenting with digital and multimedia arts, looking for intersections and common languages between research and artistic practices.
